Kasey was immersed in the fast-paced world of running a business, navigating the challenges and joys that came with it.
She realized that while many entrepreneurs were passionate about their work, they often struggled to understand and manage their finances effectively. Seeing how much clarity and confidence came from having a strong financial foundation, Kasey discovered her calling.
What began as a curiosity about numbers transformed into a deep passion for helping business owners succeed. With a knack for simplifying complex financial concepts and a drive to make a real impact, Kasey knew she could make a difference. And so, Spark Business Consulting was born—a place where creativity, strategy, and expert bookkeeping come together to help businesses thrive.

Kasey Anton, founder of Spark Business Consulting and author of Profit First for Restaurants, helps small business owners achieve profitability and growth using the Profit First system.
With over 20 years in the restaurant industry, Kasey shares her expertise through conferences, podcasts, and her consulting firm, Spark, which has earned glowing reviews for transforming businesses.
A New England native, Kasey balances her career with family life and exploring the local restaurant scene.

Amy has been with Spark since 2011 and brings expertise across industries including restaurants, salons, retail, law, and more. Her broad experience, tireless work ethic, and easy rapport with clients make her an invaluable part of the Spark team.
A Babson College graduate, Amy began her career in fund accounting, advancing quickly in the corporate sector before taking time to raise her family and help grow her husband’s business. She later returned to her accounting roots at Spark, combining corporate expertise with entrepreneurial insight to meet clients’ unique needs.

Bree has been a Lead Accountant at Spark since 2018, brings exceptional skills in time management, organization, and communication to the team. Certified in Profit First, she helps clients master their financial data and maximize profitability, contributing to the Spark Training Playbook.
Bree’s personal achievements include buying and selling her first Massachusetts home before 30 and relocating to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she enjoys lakeside living and nurturing her plant collection.

Stephanie, a Profit First-certified Lead Accountant and Team Development Coordinator, brings over 20 years of experience in retail, restaurants, and business ownership. A UMass Amherst alumna from the North Shore, she launched a luxury concierge company in 2007, gaining valuable entrepreneurial insight.
Specializing in industries like restaurants, retail, construction, and interior design, Stephanie helps clients grow and profit. Outside of work, she enjoys time with family, crafting cocktails, curating playlists, spinning, and supporting local businesses by dining and shopping at her clients’ establishments.

Laura, a New England College alumna, joined Spark Business Consulting in 2020 as a Lead Accountant. With years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, and credit & receivables, Laura specializes in helping small businesses stay organized, clarify financials, and maximize profitability.
QuickBooks Online certified, Laura excels at building strong client relationships and ensuring their time is well spent. Outside of work, she enjoys biking, running, family time at Sandy Neck Beach, and cruising Cape Cod Bay on a boat restored by her husband and named after their daughter. She’s also a proud dog mom to Ford and Bear.

Alexandra, Spark’s Marketing Director, brings over 15 years of experience running her own agency, Pink Elephant Design and Marketing, to her role. Joining Spark full-time in August 2023, she manages online campaigns, social media, and promotions with dedication and creative flair.
Certified in graphic design, digital marketing, and copywriting, Alexandra combines expertise with a global perspective, having been raised in Saudi Arabia by Welsh-Peruvian parents and traveled extensively. Now based in Oregon, she enjoys working out, cooking vegan meals, gardening, playing piano, and spending time with her three sons, goldendoodle and boyfriend.

Mary, an Associate Lead Accountant at Spark since February 2022, plays a key role in the Spark Eats Division, bringing her passion and hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. With a background in Restaurant & Hotel Management and a Business Administration degree from Massasoit Community College, she focuses on meeting client needs with dedication and attention to detail.
A Boston native and mother of three active boys, Mary enjoys supporting her kids at lacrosse and football games and vacationing throughout New England in her free time.
Jill is an associate lead accountant and joined the Spark team in July 2023. She is a Bridgewater Alumni with many years of bookkeeping and finance experience in the construction and real estate industry. She’s part of the Spark Builds and Designs Division and has a passion for the construction industry. She strives to help business owners with their financial needs, so they have more time to focus on the part of their business they enjoy. Jill had her first daughter in 2022 and is expecting her second in 2024! She’s also a rescue mom to 4 fur babies and has a passion for helping animals in need.

Drew Loring, originally from Western Massachusetts, brings a rich background in hospitality and corporate finance to Spark. After starting his career in his family’s restaurant and Bed & Breakfast, Drew spent eight years at Wayfair, where he advanced from entry-level accounting to managing teams that supported the company’s IPO and compliance initiatives.
Now living south of Boston with his fiancé Jenna and their dogs, Henry and Luna, Drew enjoys playing amateur golf tournaments, traveling, and spending time at the beach—all while striving to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
MaryAnne joined the Spark team in the beginning of 2024. Her background includes working 8 years within a government agency part of Executive Branch; along with having worked 17 plus years of Construction Accounting. In addition, she’s volunteered in Non-Profit roles as Treasurer and Board Member.
She’s a Massachusetts girl with a brief interruption of an 8-year hiatus in Nashville, TN where she attained her college degree, met her husband, and started the real world. A South Shore native, MaryAnne enjoys spending time in her beach town with her family, skiing, working out, and reading to name a few.
